Is it just me or has Popipa’s covers been really mid lately? (Saying this as a Popipa fan.) I don’t know why, but they seem so… basic?? And the songs that they’ve been covering don’t fit them at all. Asterisk could’ve easily been better just being covered by RAS, and Hot Limit was just.. awkward to listen to? Shoujo Rei should’ve just been covered by Morfonica, too. I don’t know. All of the other covers have been fire though, and I’m so glad songs like Villain, Telecaster B-Boy, Tokyo Teddy Bear, and Hibana are being covered. Just my opinion, though.
